Item of Desire: Chapter 2 Bath Components from Studio Ore in England

We initially reported on cult component and fittings professionals Studio Ore back in 2021. Creator Daniel Lee introduced his business after refurbishing his own home (see The Uncluttered Life in London). “When I undertook my restoration task in 2014, I imagined stunning brass taps that would display the natural homes of the metal and establish a distinct character in time. Following several years of chrome and nickel, I felt it was time to bring the warmer tones of brass back into the restroom. And after that, after the interiors were included on Remodelista, I got numerous e-mails asking where the taps originated from, therefore I chose to begin making them for one-off orders.”

” Beginning with a garage and after that a workshop in Sussex, we now style and make a broadening series of items that are affected by commercial style and are as much about function as they have to do with looks,” Lee states. Their newest offering? Chapter 2, a line of more standard components and fittings, beginning with a conventional bath mixer; remain tuned, there’s more to come.
